Thermalright SK6 vs. CPUfx CORE

Now you can see what the fan looks like when mounted and it is a very sturdy design and I have found it to be much easier than having to use the screws, but you will have to live without having a fan-grill. A fair sacrifice all in all. Also the way the heatsink is setup with fins rather than pins the air will have a more set path – here is a drawing of what the airflow pattern is like.

Sorry about the low quality diagram of the airflow, but you get the point. With the way the air flows in the heatsink when fan blowing down is through set channels, which are created by the fins on either side of the center gap, in the testing we will find out if this design is beneficial or if it is just something to look nice. Now for the CORE part of this review.
