Purple is obviously
not a good color for the camera. The pictures make it look blue. But
it's purple. You'll also notice that the RJ-45 connectors are on the
front, and not on the back. This makes routing your cables a little
bit of a headache. It's also a double shame because of when in
operation the WaveBase puts on quite a light show. With cables flying
everywhere.

So what's the deal
with the DIP switches? Well, for the security conscious, it allows
several important functions only to be performed while a person is
physically with the unit. Functions like resetting to factory
defaults and upgrading the firmware, use the DIP switches. A bit of
inconvenience, but good security is not easy, so I consider this a
good feature.
