| Testing the
Boomslang 2000 |
One of the most cool features of the Boomslang is that it can handle speed
and sensitivity on-the-fly. For example, if you play Quake III (or whatever
game) there is always the possibility that your mouse handles to slow or way too
fast. Normally you have to quit the game, go to your mouse properties and change
that. The Boomslang can do it while you are playing ! This can be done while in
a full-screen D3D or OpenGL game, you just press down the thumb button, and use the scroll wheel to adjust sensitivity any time,
in mid-game. Of course you can also use the standard and highly programmable
Razer Customizer.

The Customizer has a wide variety
of options that you can setup and test. It's great and stable software.
The buttons are programmable, when needed you can choose left or right
handed, adjust sensitivity and click speeds. you can upgrade the driver software online. Just pop-up your
Razer customizer, hit update and reboot, everything will install
automatically without a hassle.

Dust barrier
every mouse that I have owned and know had the same problem time after time ..
Dust. Don't you hate it when your mouse won't move like you want it to ?
Normally when you open up your mouse the wheels are intensely covered with dust.
The Boomslang promises to end this problem due to its innovative plastic
membrane lines inside of the controller. Well, I can't say that it works at this
time, ask me again in half a year.
