Hercules Gamesurround MuseXL

The Labors of Hercules - Uh, did anybody else notice that the chick on the box-front has fly wings? You know, none of the Muses had wings. The Muses were nine Greek Goddesses who oversaw and inspired the arts and sciences. One could, for example, ask for their help when creativity or perseverance failed in a task. I don't know which one of the Muses she's trying to be, but the only thing she inspires is a shower and a fly swatter. Must be French.

If anyone's interested, the Muse of music is named Euterpe. Check the links at the end for the whole story; there will be a test next week. Why could it not be somebody, oh, like Christy Turlington? Yeah, she'll be my Muse of Gaming.

Installation
Installation is pretty well easy. There's a section in the manual on tearing apart your computer - with pictures, a 7-step procedure, and software installs for multiple Windows versions (sorry, no Linux) and in multiple languages. I haven't seen this kind of thorough manual since the days when Compaq was a decent computer. Other than that, you won't find any evidence that it's installed on your computer. No Control Panel Applet, no System Tray icon, nothing. Everything you need is to be had from Windows' own Sound control panel applet. And that's it. A very unimposing installation.
