Func 1030 Mouse Surface

Holy cows .. it is another mousepad review and hey .. this is another one of those "gaming" mouse-pads. So, is this the one for you? Is it time to ditch that old cloth pad? Yes .. No ..?

A few things you should know. These are not your standard model mouse pads. No, we live in the world of "mouseing surfaces" (did I spell that right?).

So, what makes the Func different from the competition (ex: Everglide and Ratpadz)? Well, lets look at the similarities. All have that special surface. You know, the one that gives you extra speed and precision. All are huge, so you don't run off the pad. This is where the similarities end.

First of all, there's the packaging. It comes in a pretty tin! Oh yes, the mousepad comes in a tin! It says Func 1030 on it. Secondly, I was surprised by the fact that the pad comes with instructions. Yes, instructions! To be fair, they are for assembly, which I will handle later. With a surface area of 10"x8.5" (26.4cm x 22.4cm) and a height of 1/8" (.33cm), it's huge and beats the others.
