Let's take a look what NVIDIA came up with this
year and what Creative Labs is planning to sell:
GeForce4 Ti4400:
Core clocking: 275 MHz;
Memory configuration/clocking: 64 MB DDR SDRAM @ 275 (550) MHz;
Approximate MSRP price: $299.
For the time-being this will be the new flagship. It's a performance magnet.
Make no mistake, next to the GeForce4 4600 this is to be
the fastest and most feature rich graphics card to date rated with a $299 USD
pricetag it is a rather expensive one though.
GeForce4 Ti4600:
Core clocking: 300 MHz; the new flagship that should rock them all.
Memory configuration/clocking: 128 MB DDR SDRAM @ 325 (650) MHz;
Approximate MSRP price: $399
GeForce4 MX460:
Core clocking: 300 MHz;
Memory configuration/clocking: 64 MB DDR SDRAM @ 275 (550) MHz; Memory
1000:(550:2)=3.6ns
((2x128bit) x 275MHz) : 8bit = 8800 MB/sec
Approximate MSRP price: $199.
GeForce4 MX440:
Core clocking: 270 MHz;
Memory configuration/clocking: 64 MB DDR SDRAM @ 200 (400) MHz; Memory
1000:(400:2)=5ns
((2x128bit) x 200MHz) : 8bit = 6400 MB/sec
GeForce 3 Ti 200 has this bandwidth ...
Approximate MSRP price: $149.
