3D Blaster GeForce3 Ti500

In our previous reviews we explained numerous times into detail what the GeForce GPU's new features are in our technology overviews and reviews. We will not explain phrases like lightspeed memory architecture, Quincunx, nfiniteFX, programmable vertex and pixel shaders anymore as we are sure you know them by now. Though ... if you would like to learn more about those features then please read one of our many GeForce3 reviews.

With the release of the GeForce3 Ti NVIDIA introduced two new technologies. Shadow buffers and 3D textures. Bare in mind that these technologies are not Ti200/500 specific, however to be able to run them with a descent performance level you will need the fastest NVIDIA videocard(s) available. The new features are activated and unleashed with the recently released DetonatorXP drivers and will enhance upcoming games ever more. Take a look at some of the screenshots below to see what the Ti500 is capable of in real-time.
