It's that time of year
again. No, I'm not referring to the holidays. It's the time of the year when
everyone finds an excuse to spend money on non-essential crap. For us gamers,
it means upgrading our gaming rigs, and for some others, buying a whole new
computer. After all, we have to make sure our systems are ready to handle
whatever new games the new millennium has to offer. So grab your gear and get
ready to empty out your year long savings; it's time to do some 3D shopping.
Recently I have gotten
many e-mails from individuals who don't seem to be able to make up their mind
about which products they should buy. Many of this individuals are unsure
which products are more suitable for their needs and more importantly, price
range. While we at Guru3D live and breath computer hardware, many folks
out there don't have the time or perhaps don't care for keeping track of
reviews and product releases through out the year.
We put this buyer's guide
for those people. In each category, we have chosen a product for three
different price ranges: value, mid-range, and high-end. Keep in mind that this
buyer's guide is for gamers, and the selected products are chosen on this
basis: "How good are they for gaming?"
I hope you find it useful.
Happy holidays and happy new year.
