Ubisoft Uplay DRM exposed as backdoor
Ubisoft's online network, uPlay, appears to have been hacked into with new exposed data suggesting that the service includes a rootkit, according to early reports. The data has not been fully verified, though one hacker website has published a URL which appears to show how PCs files can be accessed through the uPlay service.
Ubisoft installs a backdoor that allows any website to take over your computer. The Sony BMG rootkit was also DRM and required product recall when it was discovered.
