Tuniq launches HD-BOX Full HD Network Media Player

Posted by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 07/08/2010 03:33 PM | 0 comment(s) ]

They started with coolers and cases, now Tuniq presents the HD-BOX, a full HD capable, hard drive based, stand-alone digital playback system.

The HD-BOX is a media playback system that supports a wide array of file format such as MPG, MOV, RM, WMV, Xvid, H.264, etc. It is also capable of displaying common image formats for viewing your favorite pictures. Audio playback is also supported in many different formats.

The HD-BOX is Bit Torrent ready and offers video playback quality from NTSC and PAL and all the way up to 1080p. The installation of the HD-BOX is straight forward and easy to do; just install the hard drive (maximum size of 2TB) from the side panel and you are ready to go.

What is also interesting is that the HD-BOX is one of the first digital media playback boxes that offers Wi-Fi connectivity right out of the box with the included Wi-Fi dongle.

One additional and frequently overlooked feature that HD-BOX offers is the multi-lingual user interface. This localization feature really adds convenience during operation.
