I...somewhat found the trailer contains an offensive amount of cliches.
I know they're trying to build the tension and drama, but the whole thing almost put me off completely if not for the gameplay cuts.
And while I partly blame my X-mini speakers, I first heard 'daring' as 'dating'.
Confused me for a while because it was said when Lara was parachuting off a free fall.
I was like, "...was that a speed dating or something? Leaving the guy quickly with base jumping?" until it finally clicked on me.

On topic - I am debating if this is worth getting just to check out and benchmark TressFX. I'd like to do that and then just give it away, but isn't this a Steamworks title?

I enjoyed the trailer, took me a second to realize it was the UK version, hehe. I bought all the Tomb Raiders on steam awhile ago and am yet to really play them. Don't think I've touched a Tomb Raider game since PS1... It just makes me sad it comes out the same day as the new SimCity, how can I play them both at once!?

Preordered it for $31.50 because Green Man Gaming had a special that worked on pre-orders. Can't wait for the game to come out.

He's quite right IMO.
With TressFX, her ponytail won't look 'solid' like in the trailer; there's no visible individual strands like in the TressFX images.
