Streets of Rage Remake - Footage Emerged

Posted by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/06/2012 08:18 AM | 11 comment(s) ]

SEGA's classic 2D scrolling beat'em up, Streets of Rage. These are some scenes from a playable prototype. It was something they built very rapidly and represents pre-pre-pre-pre (lots of pres) pre-Alpha quality. Even so it has a certain charm :)

That's not looking too shabby for a pre pre pre pre pre-Alpha. Looks like it could be good fun.

Looks like great fun. I liked the hit/lock/drop/stomp combo on the guy near the exploding car.

I will be looking out for this.

Yeah, it's more like a Fighting Force remake.

Bah, the real 2D Streets of Rage Remake that was made by fans and being forced by Sega to be pulled down was more entertaining and high quality to boot.
