Well, you're probably seeing it wrong.

So they do testing, gee great, now if they would just stop selling entire batches of phones with defective AMOLED screens.

It's not just Samsung. I've previously Owned the following phones, all of which had a dead pixel or over a period of several months had a stuck pixel:
Dell Streak
HTC Titan II
Samsung Galaxy Note
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6800

I abused my S2 quite a lot, and there's only a tiny scratch on screen and a dent in one corner of the case. If S3 is even more durable, it would be great.
Regarding screens, it depends on your luck me and my friends have some Samsung devices and none of them has any subpixel issues (S2, S3, Note, Solid).

Shouldn't there be a "heart" in your description somewhere there boss man.
Anyway, if the S3 is anything like the S2 that water testing probably killed it.

Guess I must be a Samsung fanboy.
Although I have one one these mobiles, I wouldn't dream of treating it like that at all.
Even have a Bench sock for it, when it's not in use.

They've probably used different phone or some accessory for that test - it doesn't look like S3.
