New Core i7-4960X "Ivy Bridge-E" Benchmarks
Over at Tom's Hardware they once again managed to leak benchmarks wahaaaay ahead of the release. This time they posted Core i7-4960X "Ivy Bridge-E," numbers. The to be announced LGA2011 processor is compared with processors like i7-3970X, i7-4770K, i7-3770K, i7-2700K, FX-8350, and A10-5800K.
The Core i7-4960X isn't scheduled to be officially launched until the second half of 2013. Overall Ivy Bridge-E is merely 10% better than Sandy Bridge-E. Anyway, have a peek at the many benchmark results. Complete preview at the source.
