MSI Afterburner overclocking competition Winners

In Collaboration with MSI, Guru3D earlier on organized a skin and overclocking competition. We've seen some fantastic overclocks and the skins released where absolutely diverse and nice.

The MSI Afterburner overclocking competition ended on Dec 18th. The player who uses the most high-end graphics card was not the winner this time, instead, the winner only used a mainstream card that almost every computer shop sells. For example, the first place player used a GeForce 9500 GT and the second place player used a Radeon 4350 only. We noticed stunning overclocking percentage over 100%

It however now is time to formally announce the prize winners of both competitions !

Winner list of Afterburner overclocking competition. Place Player Overclocking percentage GPU clock VGA Model:

• First Place Nei (MSI Radeon HD 5870)with a 145.00% overclock at 1351 MHz with his MSI N9500GT
• Second Place JMax_OC (Big Bang Fuzion P55 motherboard) with a stunning 140.90% OC at 1325 MHz on a MSI N9400GT
• Third Place is for Mamulos (MSI N275GTX Lightning graphics card) with a 125.16% OC at 1350 MHz with merely a Radeon 4350

We have three runner ups all receiving MSI GeForce 9600 GT in the overclocking competition: MM10x,  Siamezu and Jordan199. You can check out some of the entries here in this thread.

Of course there was a second competition, the AfterBurner Skin Competition. The results especially the top three, are really great. Here are the top three winners:

• First Place Buzz44 (MSI P55-GD80 motherboard)
• Second Place CrowTrobot (MSI R4890 Cyclone OC graphics card)
• Third Place CrowTrobot (MSI N260GTX-T2D896-OC graphics card)

Here we also have three runner up prizes that we give away and the lucky draw winners of the Afterburner skin competition receiving a MSI GeForce 9600 GT are Giguli, Godzylla and Freeman3D.
