Mirrors Edge PC Release Date Announced

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/05/2008 12:20 PM | Source | 0 comment(s)

The enhanced PC port of Mirror's Edge will arrive January 13th in North America, and January 16th everywhere else. The PC version will have support for Nvidia's PhysX game physics which when turned on will allow gamers to interact with the game world on a higher level. Meanwhile PC gamers can play this 2D Flash game based on Mirror's Edge right now.

In related news, Electronic Arts and DiCE released this trailer announcing the upcoming DLC for Mirror's Edge, to be released in January. As expected it's time trial levels, but the graphical style is interesting. Word is: Promising 'no guns, no cops, and no city,' the seven downloadable Time Trial maps will hit PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in late January, priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10). In addition, PlayStation 3 owners will receive an extra downloadable map for free [via ggmania].
