This format is really getting popular somehow. So yet another upcoming ultra-wide cinematic monitor from LG, the 29EA73-P. Adopting the latest AH-IPS panel, this new 29-inch LED backlight monitor provides 2560 x 1080 native resolution with 21:9 aspect ratio, 5,000,000:1 (DFC 1,000:1) contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms (GTG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Not to mention, it also has two built-in 7W stereo speakers and features DVI-D, 2x HDMI (1x MHL), DisplayPort, USB 2.0 and 3x USB 3.0 connectors. The 29EA73-P will go on sale from early August for unannounced price yet.
Two models are released of which both are are 29-inchers with a native resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels. Inputs, include dual-link DVI, DisplayPort, two HDMI ports. Both offer USB 3.0 hubs, 7W stereo speakers, and audio out; but differ in design, and hence, dimensions. The 29EA73-P measures 699.7 x 387.0 x 197.2 mm, weighing 5.9 kg; while the 29EB73-P measures 699.7 x 395.3 x 225.0 mm, weighing 6.9 kg.
