Hawken - Cinematic Open Beta Launch Trailer

The Hawken open beta started today, and to celebrate, Adhesive Games has released a cinematic trailer.

HAWKEN - Missile Assault Mode Video - 10/29/2012 07:34 AM
HAWKEN's objective-based missile assault mode pits squads against each other in a race to control three missile silos. Once under your control, the silos will launch missiles against the enemy base-but first you have to capture the silos. Sharp tactics and teamwork will trump a fast trigger finger in this fight as the team whose base gets slagged first loses.

Yeah - it's as with every game start now. You get nice trailers and not working servers.

I'm so excited to jump in and start playing the beta. I've always had a soft spot for Mech games. (Mechwarrior, Steel Battalion, and Armored Core, I'm looking at you.) The client is downloading now. Hopefully the servers will open up a bit as the night draws on.

I hadn't actually heard of this game until this morning. I was mucking about with drivers and Nvidia's latest install screen was "Are you ready for Hawken?" and now the beta is front page news.

So what do you guys think?

I think is ok for a free game, but not worth to spend money on this.
