Yea, free is good, but not enough to merit giving my credit card info to them
too bad, that a credit card is needed for registration there...

I already have a gamefly account so no biggie here. However, I already own the game on disk but I figured, why not have it on digital download as well.

First Battlefield 1942 and now Bioshock... I can't wait to hear about the next freebie games!!!
And well it seems to be capable of running without GameFly active once its been activated, so I guess the answer is no? Not crippled?

Its cool they offer Bioshock for free, but thats about all I would pay for this game in the first place lol. I just didn't care for Bioshock at all and thought it was waaay overhyped and overrated. I do like GameFly a lot for digital downloads though. They always have great 75% off sales on stuff, and I highly recommend that any gamers here subscribe to their email feed for those deals.

Activated? That implies DRM, so definitely won't be signing up!!

You better get used to it, because this is a battle the gamers will lose. If you continue in an attempt avoid DRM, you just won't be able to play most of the games you want to play.
