Rumors and speculations always hit the web once a new graphics card is closing in on a launch, it'll still be a few weeks though. So as you guys know the GeForce GTX 780 will actually be a consumer version of Tesla K20C, the 2496-core part with 5GB of GDDR5 memory. The rumor weas that the card will be priced anywhere between $499 and $599. Word out in cyberspace is that the price will be significant higher.
In fact, the pricetag of the GeForce GTX 780 would be be closer to the GeForce GTX TITAN, according to a report on sweclockers. Some claim that the pricetage could very well be 800 USD. And that for the new high-end card would be quite something as that domain always has been the 500 USD range.
This rumor is creating a lot of hype on the web. We think this is the usual rumour mill. Let's wait until they release hard facts. As for pricing?
