EVGA 3 GB GTX 580 HydroCopper 2 Graphics Card

Posted by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 05/11/2011 09:40 AM | 0 comment(s) ]

EVGA released a GeForce GTX 580 FTW HydroCopper 2 3GB GDDR5 graphics cards, the card comes with core clock frequencies of 772 MHz GPU, 1544 MHz on the shader processors, and 1002 MHz (4008 MHz effective) on the gDDR5 memory.

It's kind of weird as this 3GB model is clocked significantly lower then its 1.5GB counterpartat 850/1700/4196 MHz (core/shaders/memory effective). Then again, this design is single slot.

As you can see eVGA makes use of a SwiftechHydroCopper 2 full-coverage water block which comes pre-fitted, along with an EVGA GTX 580 backplate.

The 3 GB EVGA GTX 580 FTW HydroCopper 2 is priced at US $739.99.
