You can now download NVIDIA GeForce 310.90 WHQL Drivers. This GeForce driver is recommended for the best experience in the blockbuster holiday games. GeForce R310 drivers add optimizations for Far Cry 3, providing up to 38% faster performance.
These drivers also include optimizations for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed III, providing up to 26% faster performance in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and up to 18% faster performance in Assassin’s Creed III, as well as smooth, shimmer-free graphics with TXAA antialiasing in both games.
New in GeForce 310.90:
- Adds a security update for the NVIDIA Display Driver service (nvvsvc.exe).
- Improves performance for GeForce GTX 690:
- Up to 19% faster performance in Autodesk 3ds Max when interacting with large models compared to GeForce GTX 480.
- Up to 60% faster performance in ray tracing applications such as NVIDIA iray and Chaos V-Ray (subject to the scene fitting into graphics memory) compared to GeForce GTX 480.
- Up to 76% faster performance in the 3D extruded ray tracing capability in Adobe After Effects compared to GeForce GTX 480.
- Updates SLI profiles for Far Cry 3 and NBA2k13.

Thanks for that I just upgraded to Win8 64 pro before installing gtx680 and have had no end of trouble with MOH WF, since following your advice no trouble so far touch wood (taps head)

apparently they do (not everyone), they believe that purging their rig of the old drivers to pave way for the new ones will make their games run twice as fast and look twice as good, then when it doesn't they blame Nvidia. Lol. IIRC it was Nvidia itself that recommended installing over the previous.
Exception: Some people have issues with the previous driver forcing them to remove remnants in the hope that the new one will bring performance bliss.
After Nvidia's recommendation some years back, i always installed over previous drivers. Result= no problems.

Being a very heavy graphics intensive game I installed the 310.90 driver as NVIDIA's website said that is the latest for my card. I installed it and Windows 7 says there is a problem with it and that it ios disabling it. The driver does not recognize my monitor type and also the highest res I can get to was 1600 x 1200.
I'm glad I had created a restore point before installing the driver.
Any idea why my system would not like the new driver ?
I have an Intel quad 6600 2.4ghz with 3gb of memory.

From what I have been reading the latest patch for Skyrim has been glitchy for some people, that said however, 310.90 has been working fine on my system. Have you tried redownloading the driver or doing a clean install of it?
