You can now download Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PC Benchmark. Square Enix has released a benchmark for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. This is a new build with revision 1.0.0.2 that solved and bigfixed a thing or two. See just how well FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will run on your computer.
This official benchmark software uses actual maps and characters to assign a score to your PC and rate its performance.
Version 1.0.0.2 Release Notes – Updated 3/14/2013
What's New
The Screen Mode option has been added and includes the following settings:
- Windowed
- Full Screen
- Borderless Windowed
- When set to borderless windowed, the benchmark will be run using your desktop resolution.
- When set to full screen, the mouse will be disabled while the benchmark is calculating your score.
- If your computer is not running a compatible version of Direct X, an error message will be displayed when launching the benchmark.
Bug Fixes
The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue wherein certain error messages were erroneously displayed.
- An issue wherein the file FFXIV.cfg was created in the root directory where the benchmark client was installed. (If installed on the C drive, C:\)
- An issue where clicking the start button multiple times would load multiple instances of the benchmark.
- An issue wherein the DirectX version information was not correctly verified.

I could not get it to go fullscreen even if I picked fullscreen so I went into the .ini that is created and changed the line 'SCREENMODE=1' to 'SCREENMODE=2'
Not sure if SLI is working though as Afterburner did not show up on screen. If anyone knows how to get SLI and/or Afterburner working that would be great.

Think if you select windowed borderless i got it to run at 2560x1440, but your right full screen would just sit there doing nothing

Think if you select windowed borderless i got it to run at 2560x1440, but your right full screen would just sit there doing nothing

A side note: i found this benchmark to be an extremely good tool to test gpu memory overclock. I had 1425mhz for quite some time, run furmark, 3dmark 11/vantage and a hand full of games - not a single problem. Then ran this benchmark and and 10 second into it the screen went white. Clocked the memory at 1400, problem solved.
