Dell hits back by launching their latest LCD monitor for the Chinese market, the UltraSharp U2413. Adopting an AH-IPS panel, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles, and features DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort and mini DisplayPort connectors, plus a 4-port USB 3.0 hub.

The UltraSharp U2413 sells for 5,499 Yuan (about $883).

Probably 6ms or 8ms GTG. There is no listing up on Dell about this monitor.

for about $883, I lost interest. if only the refresh rate was higher than 60.

That's not the same thing as input lag, that's response time.

Anyway, Dell's U series are all distorted by an absurdly thick/overkill anti-glare layer which ruins the image. I learned my lesson the first time, never again will I buy one of those.

Gotta agree with you there. I had no idea what I was missing until I got a clear display, what a difference.
