How was the performance in the APLHA release of last month.
Placing recommended requirements as GTX 560 and max as 680 doesnot prove if 680 can max out the settings

So no x64 version? It should really be the standard in 2013. I'm guessing no Directx 11.1 either!...
The
Interesting in the requirements they list Vista even in the hi-spec category where they also list the HD7970/Gtx 680 and i7-2600K etc.
In that sense, it is interesting they list the i7-2600K, and not the i5-2500K. It's also interesting they list the i7-2600K and the AMD FX4150. I realise they are only examples, but one would think the i5-2500K would be a better suit.

The
only
reason why some Directx 11.1 features were backported to Windows 7, despite Microsoft's original claims, is that they know there would be zero developer support for it if it were limited to just Windows 8. Even with support on Windows 7, it will be hard pressed to find Directx 11.1 games I think.

yeah, it will need 4 cores
, rest will not be used.
I don't smell port because they made an alpha, so at least they have a few in teh PC version, but performance was terribad, and gameplay looked exactly like crysis 2. I think they'll sell an history in this game (which btw they destroyed in the last one)

Technically, graphically and technologically will probably be amazing, just as Crysis 2 was. And still is.
But there are far too many more interesting games coming out next year, for me to be excited about Crysis 3.

Funny, they recommended Quad Core CPU for the recommended system, and the examples are all Dual Core CPU's.

Well my GPU fails this list and is admittedly behind but my i5-2500k certainly doesn't fail the list regardless of what they say. The i5 is piss easy to OC, it runs at 3.7GHz Turbo out the box and I'm running it at 4.5GHz. As for the i7 variants I can't imagine any game using hyper-threading on top of the 4 physical cores.

I do hope they'll include high-res textures on the release this time. Crysis 2 looked disappointing before DX11/textures patch.
