Cooler Master CM Storm Scout 2 Gun Metal Grey

Posted by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/21/2012 09:35 AM | 0 comment(s) ]

Over in Asia the Cooler Master CM Storm Scout 2 Gun Metal Grey Chassis has been launched. The "Gunmetal Grey" version of CM Storm Scout 2 case is only avaiulable in selected markets as it seems. By design the chassis is an ATX mid-tower with large rubberized handles on top. Front console connections have been updated to USB 3.0 while offering protection from adverse travel conditions with hidden sliding cover. Support for current high-end hardware is greatly increased by a removable HDD cage that supports VGAs like the NVIDIA GTX 690 and AMD HD 7990, making the Scout 2 better prepared for all conditions.

The case includes three 5.25-inch drive bays, seven 3.5/2.5-inch internal bays, and a ventilation system that includes a perforated front (two 120 mm front intakes), a 120 mm rear spinner, two side 120 mm fan provisions, and two 120 mm top fans.
