Check out this Battlefield 3 Mod that Offers Natural Colors. Even though DICE has not provided the mod tools for its game, BF3 modder Frankelstner has created a mod that removes the annoying blue lighting technique (alongside the color grading effect).
A Battlefield 3 comparison video showing how all four Back to Karkand maps look with and without colour grading. In each scene, the standard version of the map is shown first, followed by the modified version.
This was achieved by editing the game files to disable colour grading.
The background music used in the video consists of the three loading tracks from Battlefield 2.
