ATI demonstrates DX11 class technology

Over at Quakecon AMD is showing a little private preview to some members of the press in a hotel. They are building some momentum for DirectX 11 class graphics cards under their family codename evergreen.
It seems that on the 10th of September some sort of announcement is to be made. Anyway, inside that hotel room AMD/ ATI team has a blinded (side panel covered) PC showing off some DX11 goodness and next to that technologies like Parallax Occlusion Mapping (nothing new), hardware tessellation (part of DX11) and High-Definition Ambient Occlusion mapping. Check out some of the photo's courtesy of Legitreview.
