AOC reveals virtually borderless 23-inch IPS display

Nice, AOC just released the i2367fh which is a 23" IPS-based LCD display. It really shines due to the fact that it has a near borderless design, it has a bezel of just 2mm. Priced at $199, the screen offers a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 5ms response time, VGA and HDMI outputs, and two built-in 2W speakers. It does not matter whether you hook up Blu-ray players to it, or enjoy your favorite video games on it, or connect different kinds of compatible devices with it via the integrated HDMI port, the AOC i2367fh ought to get the job done – and done well.

AOC, worldwide leader in monitor display technology, announces the retail availability of the i2367fh, a virtually borderless 23-inch monitor that is perfect for both workstations and gaming setups. The display’s Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology and 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio provide enhanced picture quality, higher definition, better color accuracy and greater light transmission. the pictures that retailers are using are photoshopped. here is the unboxing of said monitor. the side bezels are much wider (still not that wide though)

I'm currently using the AOC 2243W a very lovely monitor. 1 little niggle is that because it is very thin that it slightly wobbles if you knock the desk.

This is the question.
The bezel is nothing special, it just appears tiny when it is powered off, which gives it a better chance of Wife Approval.

My only concern is that it is a rectangle with rounded corners, it might be infringing Apples IP.

I don't know in Europe, but here in Brazil, it doesn't even comes close. It's an office display.... It's usually not good for playing or photos....

Would have been nice for a Eyefinity setup but sadly no Display Port connectors so a no go for me.

No DVI inputs? If this is so then it's poor they left out this connector. Instead they added a vga input? Who uses vga these days?

The price looks interesting, but I really dislike this borderless cheat. Otherwise, it would be a great display to stack 3 of them for simracing / shooters.
