A-Data SX1000L Enterprise SSDs
A-Data has announced a new line of enterprise SSDs for server, the SX1000L. Coming in both 100GB and 200GB capacities, these 2.5-inch SSDs are packed with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a SandForce SF-2281 controller, a MTBF of 1.5 million hours and promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 340MB/s, respectively.
The SX1000L is provided with greater over-provisioning with higher efficient data compression than is often seen in general SSD controllers. Since in real-world applications most data is compressible, this means sustained performance, endurance and reliability all gain significant improvement. Sequential read speeds reach 560 MB/sec, and sequential write is as high as 340 MB/sec, with IOPS of 73,000 and 45,000 (Maximum 4K random read and write, respectively).
Prices are unannounced yet.
