Thoughy incredibly dull to look at, as they all look the same, the first photo's of a six-core Core i9 processor surfaced over the weekend, this is the Gulftown SKU based on 32nm Intel Some of its features are:
- Six-core
- Twelve threads
- Socket 1366 like 45nm Bloomfield
- 6×256KB of L2 cache
- 12MB of L3 cache
- Support for X58 chipset
- Turbo Boost technology
- Integrated three-channel memory controller
- QPI bus
- 130 W TDP (not 100% sure about this one though)
It is rumored that Gulftown will launch in first half of 2010.
