OCZ SSD prices at an all-time low

OCZ prices for most of their consumer SSDs have dropped by up-to 30%, in an attempt to be even more competitive with parties like Samsung and Micron. As a result, re-sellers are now able to offer the OCZ SSDs at a level that aggressively competes. Linksys announced two new routers. The two new wireless AC routers, the Linksys AC3200 Tri-Band Smart Wi-Fi Router (EA9200) and the Linksys AC2400 Dual Band Wi-Fi Router (E8350), a 4X4 AC router, provide network speeds up to 3.2 Gbps and 2.4 Gbps, respectively*. AMD cuts 710 jobs after disappointing results

It was in the line of expectation. The new ceo Lisa Su will apply these job cuts AMD will cut 7% of its staff, 710 jobs after a disappointing period. The profits from APUs and Graphics card dropped with 16 percent.

Apple introduced a 27" iMac with a that expected Retina 5K display, (5120 x 2880 pixels resolution). The unit has a3.5GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processor, AMD Radeon R9 M290X graphics and a 1TB Fusion Drive. Pricing is a $2,499.

Apple today also launches two new iPad models. The 9.7" iPad Air 2 promises to be the thin and powerful. it has a A8X SoC and TouchID fingerprint scanner. The new SoC would offer 40 percent higher CPU performance and 2.5x more graphics performance.  The 7.9" iPad Mini 3 keeps the A7 SoC, and the most prominent new feature seems to be TouchID.

HDD capacity to hit 15TB by 2016 - with HAMR technology

You can now download 3DMark Windows v1.4.778, Futuremark released a 2nd build this week as there was an issue. This build fixes the "Workload Single init returned error message: bad lexical cast" issue affecting some systems.
