HP has outed its Envy x360 laptops which are based on Ryzen APUs. By doing so, the first details of the mobile APU are slowly becoming apparent. The laptop uses a Vega 8 GPU that does not use HBM2 memory, instead, it uses DDR4-RAM.

The colleagues over at TweakTown noticed this at a thread on the Linus forums. The DDR4 memory in use by the laptop is shared by both the CPU and GPU. The Envy x360 was fitted with 8 GB of RAM, 256 MB of which is available to the GPU. The Radeon Vega 8 Mobile APU has 8 Vega NCUs running at a 300MHz base and boost up to 1.1GHz.
 

 
Early tests have shown that laptops with Ryzen 5 graphically perform a lot better than Intel's UHD Graphics 620 as well as beating the Nvidia Geforce 940MX, but not Geforce MX150. More Ryzen Mobile products are expected to be released in January 2018 at CES.
