As you guys know the Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN-Z launched at a $2,999 price-point, the Dual-GPU monster was announced a good month ago, yet there is simply no availability. And it was only time before somewhere in Asia something leaked. There is a review originating from a Chinese publication. The card is obviously paired against a Radeon R9 295x2 dual-GPU graphics card that costs 'only' 1500 USD. The results interesting alright. Have a peek after the break.

The GeForce GTX Titan Z features two GK110 GPUs sharing 5760 Shader Cores, 448 TMUs and 96 ROPs. With a 384-bit x 2 memory bus is has 12 GB graphics memory. That memory is clocked at 7 GHz . The GPU core clock speeds are set at a 705 MHz base and a 876 MHz boost frequency. The card offers 8.1 TFlops and 2.3 TFlops of double precision. Interesting to see is that the card temperature remains at 80 Degrees C. I can't see any noise/audio measurements in the chart though.

As you can see the performance is not that far away from each other with an offset here and there. Thing is, the Radeon R9 295x2 costs half of what the GeForce GTX TITAN-Z is going to sell for. Power consumption wise it used  618W at load (total PC) compared to 678W (slightly higher only) for the Radeon R9 295x2.

Anyway, judge for yourself:
