We've not seen many monitors out there that offer an Ultra HD resolution and HDR, add one more requirement to that, G-SYNC, for those that desire it. It seems though, that in April the first 4K monitors with G-Sync and HDR will become available.

Ryan from Anandtech tweeted he received a confirmation from Nvidia, that the 4K screens with HDR and G-Sync won't take much longer. Nvidia confirmed that the 27-inch variants are still being launched this quarter. Nvidia mentions the first quarter of its own fiscal year, which ends on 29 April.

Good news for people waiting for G-Sync HDR 4K monitors. NVIDIA just confirmed for me that the 27" monitors are still set to launch in Q1 of this year. The catch? NV is going by their fiscal calendar, where Q1 ends on April 29th. So they'll land next month.

We'll be interested in learning what the price tags and specs will do, something retina-searing 1,000 nits of peak luminance would be nice.
