Sapphire launched their Radeon RX 470 Platinum Edition OC graphics card, the reference design PCB gets a slighyly higher 1216 MHz engine boost clock (vs. 1206 MHz reference) yet a 7.0 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory clock. Sapphire has a silver like finish on the cooler.
This card could be priced close to the $179 MSRP set for the RX 470. Sapphire also released their Radeon RX 470 NITRO+ Graphics Cards, these come in 4GB and 8GB models. The 4 GB model gets a 1143 MHz core, 1260 MHz boost, and 8.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory. The 8 GB model has 1121 MHz core, 1260 MHz boost, and 8.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory.
Both NITRO cards feature Sapphire's latest Dual-X cooling solution.
