Interesting -- it seems that a rumoured SKU silently slipped into (e)retail. It's the Radeon HD 4860 -- obviously a cut down version positioning itself in-between the Radeon HD 4850 and 4870. The card comes with a RV790 core clocked at 700 MHz core and has merely 640 stream processors. You'll receive 1 GB of GDDR5 memory (256-bit) clocked at 750 MHz.
Now overall I'd prefer the 4850 with more shaders, then again .. the card is priced at 129 USD, and that's a real steal for what you are getting especially with the special custom cooling (Sapphire)..
