10:00 - Conference is beginning. CEO Jen Hsun Huang is opening. Talks about PC, Android and Cloud gaming in his opening speech. Three pilars are discussed, Game platforms (GeForce GTX / Shield /Grid), Game works (discussed yesterday flex, global illuminations, indirect lighting solutions with GI and flame works etc) and game technology. Examples of Game tech are SLI, 3D Vision, GeForce Experience and of course optimized 4K gaming on Ultra HD resolutions.
10:10 - GameStream is announced, remote graphics (interactive on distance game streaming). Examples:
- Game straming from PC to Shield. JH talks bout streaming graphics from say your graphics card towards your big-screen television. Demos Tegra 4 based shield to be a receiver software client, that transmits controls to the GeForce PC and encodes the stream in console mode). Shows demo of Batman streamed from GeForce to Shield to HDTV.
New Holiday bundle is announced. Consumers who purchase a GeForce GTX 760, 680, 670, 660Ti or 660 will receive a free copy of ‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ and ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist™’. Consumers who purchase a GeForce GTX 770, GTX 780 or GTX TITAN will, in addition to those two games, also get a free copy of ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’. This offer will be available from selected retailers from Monday 28th October. NVIDIA's Holiday+ Program for its GeForce GTX cards will begin on October 28th, buyers of the GeForce GTX 660/660 Ti/670/680/760 will get Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, while GeForce GTX 770/780/TITAN buyers will also get a copy of Batman: Arkham Origins.
10:19 - JH is announcing ShadowPlay. We all know this already but shadow play will record via Kepler a h.265 1080p capture in real-time. Shadow play will record 20 minutes. Basically ringbus capturing. Available October 28th. GeForce Experience can stream directly to Twitch. Tom Petersen gets on stage.
10:30 - JH talks about 4K gaming. Talks about 4K surround 24 Mpixels gaming on three Ultra HD monitors. He talks battling stutter, lag and screen tearing which is what NVIDIA has placed focus on to solve. JH talks on vsync a lot in regards to stutter and lag etc. Then with vsync off he talks about how tearing develops.
10:45 - NVIDIA announced a new sync techology with the help of new monitor technology and software. It is called G-SYNC. G-Sync is gooing to included into monitors from ASUS, BenQ, Philips and ViewSonic.
10:49 - The G-Sync module will control drive LCD displays as timings is fluctuating all over the place. As soon as the framebuffer is complete it will update the screen. Drives screen as fast ass it can update. This way lag is gone and stutter is eliminated. Update the screen whenever the framebuffer is updated. After seeing some demos I can't be anything other then impressed. Very smooth stutter and tearing free farmerates on the monitor.
11:20 - JH introduces three game devs which are here on this event. Anderson, Carmack, Sweeney talking about G-Sync. All agree, top notch tech. Overall the devs agree that G-Sync will be great.
11:32 - JH is talking about graphics cards. Hey now, a new graphics card is actually being released. a little unexpected alright. The product being announced today is the GeForce GTX 780 Ti will be released half November. No specs released just yet, could it be the fully enabled GPU ?
11:41 Break time. The presentation will continue later on with soem round table discussions and with Anderson, Carmack, Sweeney on stage. Will keep you guys updated once we continue.
13:25 - Conference is about to begin again. No new product releases are here, a questionaire the three musketeers of gaming land and round table discussions.
So this will be the last update from me to this blog. I hope you enjoyed you guys.
Adding some photo's of the G-Sync daughter-board for monitors and ssome added GTX 780 Ti photo's.

Is it me or is every big technology company presenter in the couple years which happens to get more spotlight than before, are getting buffed a lot compared to previously?
They hitting the gym hard along with personal trainers/diets imo! The companies want's them to look healthy I guess since they represent the company's image.

Just something I noticed last couple years watching all these live events etc.
