Last year, I think it was back in December, MSI launched their OPTIX series gaming monitors with the 27-inch OPTIX G27C first. A new 1080p 24-inch OPTIX G24C is now available as well, and these should now both be a series 2 product. Much like the older 27-inch model both screens can handle 144 Hz on its TN based panel.
The monitors have a moderate 180)R curve and are adaptive sync compatible. It also supports wide viewing angle of 178 ° and wide color gamut of sRGB 110% and NTSC ratio 85%. Specifications include a brightness of 300 cd/m2, a static contrast ratio 3,000: 1, response speed 8 ms (GtG 4 ms). The display outputs are HDMI 1.4 × 1, DisplayPort 1.2 × 1, DVI × 1, the external dimensions are W 619 × D 239 × H 451 mm, Weight 5.8 kg.
- 144Hz Refresh Rate - Display without after image.
- R1800 curve panel design – Most suitable for human eye.

I have am clueless as to what in fact would be updated and new for the "Series 2" as the specs are all 100% the same, aside for the new 24" model introduction.
