Greek web store Public.gr had a gaming laptop from MSI online, nothing spcial you'd say, yet it is equipped with an Intel Core i7-8850H, which is a six-core part. The spicy MSI GT83VR Titan has two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080s installed in SLI as well as 64 GB ram.

Coffee Lake H succeed the Kaby Lake H-series, all equipped with up to four cores. Earlier leaked info suggest the proc would be clocked at 2.6 GHz with turbos running to 4.0 GHz and even 4.3 GHz, single-core reports notebookcheck, the page holding this product was pulled from the etailer:

CPU impressiveness aside, the rest of the notebook is no less a monster. The GT83 Titan features an 18.4-inch FHD display (we're not sure if a 4K option would be offered) and comes with a whopping 64 GB RAM and 2 TB storage. The storage is a combination of a 1 TB 7200 RPM hard drive and two 512 GB NVMe SSDs. The graphics subsystem is helmed by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 in SLI with 8 GB VRAM. Gauging from our experience with the last year's GT83VR, the additional GTX 1080 does not lend many benefits to raw FPS performance. It could, however, benefit the notebook's Matrix display (4K display out via HDMI, mini DP, and Thunderbolt 3 simultaneously) and TriDef VR capabilities.

Other niceties include MSI's proprietary cooling and enhanced sound technologies along with the presence of a Steelseries RGB mechanical keyboard comprising Cherry MX Brown switches and a touchpad that doubles up as a numeric keypad. All in all, the GT83 Titan is a true desktop replacement. We just hope to see reduced emissions when we eventually do get a chance to take this beast for a spin.

It will not come cheap, Public.gr lists the notebook at €6,199 (US$7,691) with specs listed above.
