As you guys know Nvidia will be releasing GeForce GTX 1060 and 1080 cards with faster memory configurations. It has been silent on that topic, but it looks like the first SKUs are becoming available shortly. MSI already submitted their MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X Plus model.

The MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X Plus will get the same clock configuration on the GPU and Boost frequency as the original model, the difference however will be an 11 Gbps memory configuration opposed towards the 10 Gbps one. The card is otherwise 100% similar to the regular 10 Gbps SKUs including the same cooler. The card arrived last week already, but since I am a little preoccupied and tied into other reviews, below you can slide through some photos of the GAMING X Plus.
