AMD announced the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X, 1950X and as a bit of a surprize, a 1900X as well last week. That would be a 16, 12 and 8 core part respectively. However there seems to be a non X mode 1920 in the works as well.
The information reaches us theough Dutch based Tweakers.net who noticed that both ASUS and ASRock have a 140W TDP based processor entry in the CPU compatibility lists. The (what we presume will be called) Threadripper 1200 is not an X model, but has a 140W TDP, which is 40 Watts lower compared top what the X models to (180W).
This Threadripper 1920 would again get 12 cores and 24 threads. According to Asus it will get a 3.5GHz base-clock, the ASRock website however notes down 3.2GHz. With a lower TDP, the latter feels more plausible. There is no mention of Boost frequency and XFR ranges.
