Microsoft to drop Windows RT brandname
DigiTimes writes Microsoft will no longer launch products under its Windows RT brand. Instead, the software giant will merge the product into its next Windows release, codenamed Blue. Although the PC supply chain had pushed the Windows on ARM (WoA) platform aggressively, the Windows RT's name, which has misled most consumers into believing that the operating system is able to support all existing x86 Windows programs, the lack of apps, as well as compatibility issues have all significantly damaged demand.
The next-generation of Windows is expected to make its first appearance at the Microsoft Build Developer Conference 2013, hosted from June 26-28 in San Francisco, the US.

It's still a rumour and I feel that the Modern UI should have been spun off as an entirely new "Modern OS" and given priority in development .. it would've been much easier to market and accept. It would've been great for the ARM based machines.

If Microsoft didn't put so much restrictions on having Windows RT preinstalled instead of retail and restricting the full use of the desktop, I think Windows RT would have done better.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind to build an HTPC with Windows RT powered by an ARM chip because they're really power efficient and they have enough horsepower for me to run a nice HTPC setup.
