A bit of an "oddball" news item for sure but nevertheless quite interesting, I think. Architectural firm dmvA built an extravagant, egg-shaped, mobile living space called "blob VB3".
It took about 18 months to complete the 20 m2 blob which is mainly made out of polyester but it does hold all necessary items one could possibly need: "bathroom, kitchen, lighting, sleeping space and several niches for storage. Moreover, the nose can be opened automatically and functions as a porch. While being closed, it blends into a complete smooth blob."
