Intel release several budget processors

Published by

Intel introduces several new low-end chips based on the Ivy Bridge architecture. It includes Celeron, Pentium and Core i3 branded parts: One of the big events of this week was the launch of Intel Haswell processors at Computex show in Taiwan. New CPUs offer considerably improved graphics and lower idle power consumption than Ivy Bridge products, although they are not compatible with existing socket 1155 motherboards.

Fortunately, in addition to Haswell CPUs, Intel also refreshed Celeron, Pentium and Core i3 lineups for socket 1155. Newly released models are Core i3-3245, i3-3250, i3-3250T, Pentium G2030, G2030T, G2120T, G2140, and Celeron G470. The company also launched two mobile SKUs, Celeron 1005U and 1017U. Prices and details of new processors can be found in Intel's official price list.
