ID Cooling Stream 3 has Liquid Cooling Through Frame

Okay that title sounds a bit weird, but is right. ID Cooling is releasing the Stream series open frame chassis. The liquid cooling runs actually though the frame itself, which is definitely an interesting angle.

It is not the first time that ID Cooling offers something liek this, the Stream 1 had similar functionally. These cases are open, offering just a frame and some mounting points for your hardware, so the term chassis is more fitting.

Along the perimeter of each side of the frame runs an aluminum tube. Each has handful of G1/4” threads into which you can route water cooling. Fluid for the cooling loop actually flows through the frame of the chassis. Albeit the chassis not rather sexy looking, this might become a new trend and pass along to other chassis designers.

They will not be cheap, expect $299.99
