Activision has announced that a free trial of Destiny 2 will debut (November 28th, 2017) for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (through Blizzard’s Battle.net client), giving new players the chance to dive in and play the title for free.

The free trial specifically will allow players to sample portions of the game’s campaign, explore its many different worlds, and compete with others online in the Crucible. Obviously, progression in the free trial will be gated through some instance (whether it’s up to a certain point in the game or a time limit), but players that try out the free trial will have their progress carry over into the full game if they decide to buy it on the same platform they demo it on. Destiny 2 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
