EA and CryTek have delayed Crysis 2 until the first quarter of 2011 (January till March). No reason for the delay was given, but the reason might be technical. Crysis 2 was originally scheduled to ship during this fall for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
We moved to the game to a better marketing window in the March quarter," Jeff Brown, VP of Corporate Communications told IGN. "This will also give the Crytek team more time to polish a great title.
Perhaps they are waiting on faster graphics cards to hit the market ;)
