Chrome 26 was just released but Google already has a beta version of Chrome 27. This new release of the search giant's browser will promise 5 percent (on average) faster page loading thanks to optimizations in Chrome's resource scheduler. The browser also adds more elegant HTML5 date and time input forms, as well as various other features. Full details about the changes in Chrome 27 beta can be read at the Chromium Blog. Faster page loads Web content now appears on screen 5% faster (on average) thanks to changes in Chrome’s resource scheduler. Starting with this release, the scheduler is more aggressive about using an idle connection and demoting the priority of preloaded resources so that they don’t interfere with critical assets. We’ve also added Speed Index values from webpagetest.org to the list of metrics we use to measure improvements in page load time.
