Much like OCZ just announced, Patriot memory will be releasing Sandforce based controllers as well. The random IO of these drives is really good, interestingly enough the these SSDs do not have big fat cache memories like the Indilinx 64MB caches that are tied to most common SSDs. More interestingly, the Sandforce drives performance with small files should be as good as Indillinx with cache memory. Peak transfer speeds will hover at 250 MB/sec read and 220 MB write.
Anyway, here are two models soon to be released by Patriot.
